Dongfeng Liuzhou Motor is a leading enterprise in China and holds ISO9001 quality management system certification, as well as 3C certification. It has developed an annual production capacity of 100,000 commercial vehicles and 400,000 passenger vehicles. "Chenglong" is its commercial vehicle brand, boasting strong R&D and manufacturing capabilities. From the birth of the first vehicle, "Liujing Brand," in Guangxi in 1969, to the debut of the Chenglong H5V product at the 6th Sixth and Seventh Brand Customer Day in 2022, its classic products include platforms such as Chenglong H7, H5, M3, L3, T7, T5, and L2. These cover traditional fuel, LNG, and new energy products, achieving comprehensive coverage in the medium and heavy-duty truck market for traction, cargo, engineering, and special purposes. They are widely used in industries such as distribution logistics, express delivery, hazardous materials, cold chain, ports, sanitation, and infrastructure, earning the trust of customers and numerous market accolades.

Dongfeng Liuzhou Motor has over 1,400 automotive engineering and technical personnel, accounting for 31% of the total workforce, including over 600 R&D personnel, more than 110 various experts, and holds more than 150 patents. It is committed to a collaborative development model involving production, academia, and research. It collaborates with world-renowned technology companies such as Bosch, Continental, Delphi, Cummins, WEBCO, as well as domestic research institutions such as Huda Aisheng and Konghui Technology, and design companies for joint design and development, significantly enhancing its product R&D and design capabilities. In 2001, Dongfeng Liuzhou Motor's Technical Center was recognized by Dongfeng Automobile Engineering Research Institute as the "Dongfeng Automobile Engineering Research Institute Liuzhou Automobile Research Institute". In 2008, it was awarded the Postdoctoral Research Workstation by the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Security. In 2009, it was recognized as a national high-tech enterprise. In 2010, it was approved as the Guangxi Commercial Vehicle R&D Center and the Guangxi Commercial Vehicle Cab Engineering Technology Research Center with a trillion-yuan industry. In 2013, it was awarded the Guangxi Academician Workstation and the Autonomous Region-level Research and Development Center.

Leveraging its strong R&D and manufacturing capabilities, Dongfeng Liuzhou Motor is making efforts in the high-end commercial vehicle sector. It has invested heavily in research on NVH smoothness, reliability, comfort, economy, and lightweighting, significantly improving the overall performance of its vehicles. Its Chenglong H7 and Chenglong T7 products are benchmarked against international high-end imported trucks from R&D to production, positioning the overall technical level of its vehicles at the forefront of the domestic automotive industry.

Dongfeng Liuzhou Motor has three major bases: the Headquarters, Commercial Vehicle Base, and Passenger Vehicle Bas. It possesses advanced stamping, painting, welding, and assembly processes, as well as supporting facilities: Asia's largest 6300T press and stamping press group, and world-class robot automatic painting system; robot welding, tetrahedral flexible final assembly fixture system, and automated distribution logistics system for mixed-model production.
